15 Sep GRAP is born

On 15 September 2022, we met in Berlin and founded GRAP (German Researchers and Archive Producers e.V.)! We have been meeting regularly for many months, so it was not a spontaneous action but something we had prepared for a long time. We see ourselves as the central lobby for German researchers and archive producers vis-à-vis producers and broadcasters. Our profession is becoming more and more important due to the increasing complexity in which research and rights clearance experts operate on a national and international level, also with regard to the growing challenges of legal regulations.
